COVID-19 & Public Health & Preventive Medicine

When the virus that causes COVID-19, SARS-Cov-2, entered the Central New York Region in March, 2020, the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine at Upstate Medical University mobilized to support our students, institution, hospital, and community. The response included contributions to regional surveillance and modeling of viral spread, public health messaging, and mobilization of public health students to support Upstate's response.
